Mental health support for teenagers and
young adults.
There is a very significant demand for appointments at Anam Occupational Therapy and many young people have to wait to see a therapist. We endeavour to
see young people as quickly as possible and one of the ways we minimise waiting times is to reduce the number of unused appointments.
As you will be given a protected time slot, it means your therapist cannot offer this appointment to anyone else. We would ask you to ensure that you keep
your therapist informed in well advance of any upcoming holidays or other commitments you are aware of so that your appointment slot can be allocated
appropriately.
Therapy Session Cancellation Policy
- Consistency is Key: We strongly recommend attending all scheduled therapy sessions consistently and avoiding cancellations for non-medical reasons.
- If you need to cancel a session appointment, please provide at least 48 hours notice.
- Cancellation Fees: If you cancel without the required notice or for non-medical reasons, you will be charged in full for cancelling your ongoing therapy
appointment as we are unable to accommodate another young person in the slot for a single missed session. This payment is non-refundable and non-
transferable. - Rescheduling the missed appointment due to medical reasons: If an appointment is cancelled for medical reasons, we will make every effort to offer an
alternative appointment.
Late for Your Appointment
- If you are late for your appointment, your session will still conclude at the allocated time.
- If you fail to show up for an appointment, a 100% cancellation charge will be applied.
Cancellation by us
- We try to keep every appointment we make, but medical emergencies and unforeseen circumstances mean that we sometimes have to cancel
appointments. If this happens, we are sorry for any inconvenience caused and will arrange a new date for you as soon as possible.
